With our membership of more than 15,000 companies, representing a base of more than half a million employees, the GCP is uniquely positioned to articulate employer demands for talent. The foundation of a workforce/talent system that’s responsive to the needs of the region’s employers is now in place. Plus, a renewed and reinvigorated public-private partnership is helping support the development of an educational program to prepare our students for highly skilled jobs in technology and science. The GCP is committed to working with its partners in the public and private sectors to ensure that Northeast Ohio creates, attracts and retains a 21-century workforce.

The Greater Cleveland Partnership works to help align workforce training and talent recruitment with priority needs of key industry clusters with an immediate focus on information technology/computer science, health care, advanced manufacturing and financial services.

Higher Education
The Cleveland Plus region has more than 30 public and private colleges and universities that graduate more than 27,000 students every year. This includes Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland State University, Notre Dame College, Oberlin College, The University of Akron, Ursuline College and Youngstown State University, as well as several community colleges.
